Good afternoon Church Family,
It felt a bit surreal this morning as I headed out for the school drop off and to do some chores I had put off in town this morning. I had to chuckle, I’m having to relearn what normal looked like albeit a new normal. I almost forgot to give my son his lunch as I have become so used to feeding him at lunchtime over the last few weeks. It is a good thing he is onto it! Poor kid.
In a world that is changing and shifting so fast I am really comforted by the fact that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 NIV. How does the song go:
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name
- On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
- All other ground is sinking sand,
- All other ground is sinking sand.
So this week I hope that you wholly lean on Jesus, the solid rock. May you find strength in His name.
Blessings
Laurie
