Good morning Church family,
This morning I woke up and checked my social media. I was wondering how our Facebook post for our first Wednesday community Cafe had been received. I’m no tech expect but the results were superb. Thanks to all those who shared our post! According to our stats we reach 372 people and I noticed that the Baptist Magazine commented that they were excited to hear about our new ministry initiative. Whoa! excitement turned to more than slight panic. God, what if more people than food show up, what if nobody shows up? You see partnering with God in what He is doing can sometimes be scary, it certainly gets you out of your comfort zone. A lot of what we are doing is dependent on Him acting in ways we can’t fully know.
So I turned to my Bible app with excitement and concern in equal measure. Maybe God would offer me some assurance in His Word. Here is the verse for today:
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV
Okay Jesus, you lead and we will follow!
