In Luke chapter 6, Jesus is accused of breaking the Sabbath. He responds by claiming that He is the Lord of the Sabbath. Doing good to God and to your neighbour is more important than obeying man-made rules for the sake of appearances. Jesus challenges us to spent time with Him and learn from Him rather than to occupy our time with petty disputes about Sabbath rule-breaking.
