Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them to pray. This was fortunate for us, because the answer to this question is what we now refer to as the “Our Father”. This prayer has been a solace and comfort to Christians around the world for thousands of years, and has been prayed faithfully worldwide in a myriad of languages. Jesus teaches that we should not be ashamed to come to God with our requests, but rather that we should approach Him with “shameless audacity”, because He is a good father, and will give us what He knows is best for us.
