This week is the start of Advent. We look at the hope that God has given us in the past through examples in His word and our own lives. Present hope is represented by our salvation through the blood of Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the blessings we enjoy as believers. Future hope is represented by the second coming of Christ and the eternal Kingdom we will enjoy in His presence.
