In Luke chapter 15, Jesus tells three parables of lost things. This week we look at the parable of the lost sheep and the parable of the lost coin. Consider what it would have felt like to the 99 sheep left in the open country without a shepherd? We should know that a Good Shepherd would make sure the flock is provided for even while He is looking for those that are lost. In the parable of the lost coin, the woman is not satisfied until she finds the one lost coin. We should also have a Godly attitude and seek out the fulness of finding that which is lost rather than be satisfied with the nine coins we already have.
