In Luke 17, Jesus warns those who cause others to stumble. “Watch yourselves!” He admonishes in verse 3. As followers of Jesus, we have to hold ourselves to a higher standard in order to avoid causing others to stumble. This includes continuous forgiveness, expressing our faith, however small, in our actions, and praising God for what He has done for us.
