Good morning Church family,

A group of us met for fellowship over zoom last night and we had a wonderful time. It was such a joy to see everyone face to face even though it was through technology. Laughter and prayer were central to our short time together. Proverbs 17:22 says “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” I certainly had a cheerful heart last night! Thank you Church family for meeting with me over zoom.

Last night we prayed for a number of things close to our hearts. We prayed for those who were unable to join us, those who have been unwell among us, those working in essential services or returning to work, we prayed for the children and youth as they continue to learn from home and we prayed for our families spread all over the world, for God’s protection and the healing of our world. There is something so special about the community of God, it’s a place to be truly yourself built on the strong foundation of our love for Jesus.

May your spirits be lifted knowing how much you mean to our Church family!

Blessings

Laurie
