Good afternoon church family,
I was just out taking my lunchtime walk when I spotted a kingfisher. I can’t believe it, I have always wanted to see one but never have. It was a wonderful encounter with creation, a tiny gift from Heaven.
How lucky we are to live within a creation so beautiful, that engages all our senses, touch, smell, sound, sight and taste. That God provided for our needs not just in a way that ensures we get the bare necessities but with a generosity above measure so that we can enjoy the things he gives us as well.
The first part of Genesis 2:9 says “The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food….”
Our God is amazing!!
