Good morning Church family,
It was so awesome on Sunday to hold up the web of wool we created together. It showed in a practical way how God has specially connected us all together. So what could be a verse that might guide us as we are being woven together by God? Colossians 3:15-17 came to mind, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
This verse has four underlying principles,
- Out of the peace that Jesus gives us we are to live in peace with each other.
- We are to be thankful
- We are to let the richness of the message of Christ soak deep into our souls
- We are to become the Gospel.
May the Lord richly bless your week ahead!
Blessings
Laurie
