Good morning Church family,
Throughout scripture we see those described as following the Lord and His ways as blessed. Often described as a tree planted in a good spot and bearing fruit. “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalms 1:1-3 NIV
And the people or trees realise that the reason they are there is a privilege.“But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever. For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.” Psalms 52:8-9 NIV
How privileged we are that we get to dwell in the presence of the Lord and learn from Him. What an inheritance to have our worth in Him. Why don’t you take sometime today and tell Him how grateful you are to Him for what He has done for you.
