Tuesday, 1 December 2020 – Shout for Joy

Good afternoon Church family

As I was having my quiet time I was struck by the celebration David had when the ark of the covenant, which held the presence of God among the people, was returned from the enemy and brought to Jerusalem. I thought to myself how often do we take the presence of God in our lives for granted. We are so blessed to have His presence with us, how often do we really celebrate that? I want to make that a priority in the coming days.

Psalm 100 says “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

We praise you Lord for who you are and we are thankful for your presence that goes before us and behind us, you are worthy of praise!

Blessings

Laurie
