Good afternoon church family,
Romans 7:4 says “So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.”
What an important and fundamental verse to speak into our journeys of faith. So often in life we have the mindset, that we are free to do as we please, because we belong to ourselves or provided they are in agreement our spouses or children. But have you ever considered the fact as a Christian that you might belong to another, Jesus, first. When we have decisions to make do we start by considering what He might think of our reasoning or how what we have learned following Him might impact what we say and do. True apprentices of Jesus, listen to the teachers voice, they include Him in their decision making and ultimately act in ways that bring honour to the one who has so graciously created so wonderful a salvation for us.
