As we continue journeying together through the account of Noah and the flood, let’s think about what it meant for Noah to build an ark. He obeyed God, despite the prevailing social and cultural norms. Noah was obedient to God and God provided everything he needed to build the ark. And even during the flood, Noah did not run ahead of God, he waited patiently until it was safe to leave the ark. Noah’s first act upon emerging from the ark was to worship and thank God for delivering him and his family. As Kingdom people, we have much to learn from Noah’s obedience.
