Good afternoon Church family,
Today’s verse for the day in the Bible app is“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22 NIV. I know the first bit by heart but have never noticed the other bit quite as much. He will never let the righteous be shaken. Now you might question, God I feel shaky at times, what is that about then? So I looked up the Hebrew and it means he will not let you fall or slip or be moved. That is because what ultimately is in store for those who love the Lord is a future secure in him. We may feel a whole raft of emotions but no one can wrest us out of God’s hands ever. We are His despite what the world or life throws at us, and that is a wonderfully comforting thought, don’t you think!
