Good morning Church family,
Psalm 147:11 says “the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” First of all what does it mean to fear the Lord? Well it doesn’t mean fear like we know it, which means to be scared of or afraid. It means to be in awe of who God is, blown away by His holiness and to hold the things He has done for us in gratitude, not taking it for granted, instead honoring Him for who He is.
That is why we have reason to hope in His unfailing love because we have experienced it first hand. We feel blessed and enjoy our relationship with God and this is what the Lord delights in, for us to know Him as we are known by Him.
