Good afternoon Church family,
Today was a 2 Corinthians 9:10-12 day, which reads “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”
Today we picked up twelve boxes of free food which God provided. We took boxes of bread rolls, eggs and apples to a local school. Some faithful church members kindly offered to help me make mushroom soup from the few boxes we received which we will freeze and use for our first community meal next Wednesday. We are still processing some eggs and then we will be done for the day. Thank everyone for all your efforts today. God you have been very good to us today we give you thanks!
