Good morning Church family,
Psalm 27:14 says “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Here the Psalmist says wait for the Lord twice, if you see anything repeated in the Bible it is usually quite important and it is something we need to take note of. It’s important!
Now the word wait is not just about being patient here it is more than that. It’s a wait with expectation, it’s keep a look out, God is going to do something worthwhile. And because we know God’s character we also know that it is going to be good for us. It’s kinda like that feeling we get the night before Christmas or the night before our birthday.
Because we know who God is, we can be strong and have the courage to push through the hard and challenging times. When was the last time you thought about the goodness of God and felt a spring of hope rise up within you. Why don’t you take sometime to do that today.
