Have you felt that you don’t matter? Well you’re wrong. God has specially chosen you to be His child. Have you ever felt; “I don’t know if I will ever get the hang of this Christian walk”? Well, guess what, you are holy in God’s eyes not because of what you do but because of what Jesus did. Ever felt unloved? Well let me tell you, God says you are dearly loved by him. And it is because of how He feels about you that you can approach your Christian walk. It is because you have God behind you, cheering you on that you can “clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” as verse 12 continues.
Verse 13 and 14 says: “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
The apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” With God behind us we can face anything and survive anything. Know who you are in Christ, it’s so important!
