2020-08-30 Sermon – Faith Seeking Understanding

This Sunday we begin a new sermon series looking at Paul’s letter to the Philippians. Paul writes from “lockdown” in a prison in Rome with a surprisingly joyful tone. In his introduction of the letter, Paul prays that their love will “abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.” He encourages them to develop a faith that seeks understanding, which will build resilience and joy during the hard times.
