Good afternoon Church Family
Today the verse I want us to focus on is “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12 NIV
At some point in our lives as Christians we will face persecution or opposition for our faith. In the face of such hardship it is important to remember what is ahead of us and who we are fighting for. A rich inheritance in the kingdom of God and the privilege of defending our Lord. No matter what we face He is worth it!
