Good afternoon Church Family
At the moment I am working my way through the book of Ezekiel. It is an Old Testament book written by a prophet. As I have read, a trend has emerged, God is busy doing all kinds of things with the primary goal of this “then they will know that I am God.” It seems as though the people of Israel are particularly forgetful. When they should be responding to God in gratitude for all the He is they have instead been lured away, very easily, by a corrupt message. Their faith has no staying power.
I wonder what are some of the things that cause you to know that God is God. Have there been times when you are not sure God is God. How do you answer those deep burning questions when doubt creeps in? I think the answer is to look back and note the times that God has been present in both situations. Hindsight is 20/20 vision as they say. Once we look back we will see that God is faithful, in fact He has a habit of being faithful and then if God is in the habit of being faithful then it is very likely this will continue even when we can’t see the outcome ourselves. This is what will help us navigate the hard times.
May you know that God is God this week!
Blessings
