Good morning Church family,
One of the questions we often ask in the hard times is where is God? It can be hard to see Him at work when everything seems dark, yet Psalm 139 v 11-12 assures us “If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night,” Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.”
As creator of the universe there isn’t a place anywhere that God isn’t present and in the midst of His people. Right now where you are, God is with you, no matter the situation. In life and in death God is present constantly. He doesn’t need breaks, He is not busy with something else. He is fully present. Praise be to our God for being our constant companion and friend.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39.
Blessings
