Good afternoon Church family
Today during my quiet time I was reading Psalm 75 and verse 3 jumped out at me:
“When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.”
How much less would we worry or stress if we could visualise our Almighty God as the one who sustains us and makes sure that the world continues on despite what we face. It is like we have this powerful, invisible forcefield which encloses us in our God’s protective care and love. When we feel like we need to do something and can’t, we don’t have to fret because God is always working for us. “You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.” Psalms 139:5 NIV
How often do you visualise yourself being held in the palm of God’s hand, literally? Perhaps it’s time we started!
