Good afternoon Church family
1 Corinthians 9:23 says “I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” This is how I felt coming to the end of what has been a very busy but satisfying week. I am tired and in need of a holiday but there is nothing quite like the feeling you get when you participate in kingdom work. It is a great joy to watch as our little Church celebrates the end of what has been a year of new beginnings. The friendships made, the deep faith discussions, the laughter, even mischief and fellowship have been wonderful to witness.
Today it was as if the floodgates of heaven opened as we welcomed our biggest group at playgroup, we had ten children not counting adults. The Hall was reverberating with the sound of children having fun. We have made some real connections that will serve us well next year. It was as if God sent un an early Christmas present to encourage us.
Thank you Lord for what you are doing amongst us and for us at Rimutaka Baptist! We serve to honour you and as a result enjoy the benefits of seeing your Kingdom bear fruit!
